Antique Victorian Aesthetic solid sterling silver etched round locket brooch pin

Great antique condition, shows tarnishing consistent with age (approximately 1880-1890). This beautiful piece features a hollow middle recess which was traditionally used to hold a photo or a lock of hair. There is no cover piece included (nor do I know if there ever was one) but one can be easily fashioned from card stock or worn as is. Unmarked but tests as sterling silver. Clasp functions perfectly.
