This candle as well as others I offer is several years old.  I find my "older" candles are still very strong and fragrant.  I store my candles in a climate-controlled area, away from direct light.
I am not responsible for candle sweat in transit.
I am not responsible for broken candles. I will package each candle with plenty of bubble wrap.
