Rare Vintage Mid Century Large 27” 3D Polynesian Philippines Dances Teak Wood Wall Art Set. They are large pieces each measuring 27” height by 18” width. They both depict different traditional dances. They are hand carved and they are very thick giving it a 3D image. They are in great shape for being from the 50''s to 60''s. Tinikling is a traditional Philippine folk dance which originated during the Spanish colonial era. Singkíl (or Sayaw sa Kasingkil) is a folk dance of the Maranao people of Lake Lanao depicting one of the episodes in the epic poem Darangen, which was popularised by the Bayanihan Philippine National Folk Dance.
